I still like the fact they make an attempt to merge with my previous Xbox ecosystem, but if this is how they're gonna do it then i might as well just bring out my series S and play the games there. same for the actual Xbox dashboard although that has its fair share of bugs as well and can be unresponsive at times, but not as frequently as the Xbox app. It's fast, it's responsive, it's everything i'd want from a windows app. It's weird as hell too because the Microsoft Store on the other hand works as i'd expect it to work. It's inconsistent as hell too- data got transferred with Spelunky 2, but not with Sunset for some reason. it doesn't help that not all the data from your Xbox installation comes to PC- I tried to boot up sunset overdrive and resume where i was playing only to get smacked with a new game screen even though it was supposedly transferring data. The app is surprisingly unresponsive- the search bar straight up doesn't fucking work, the window can suddenly freeze up and stop working, everything's kind of a mess. In another part of his interview with Same Brain, Spencer confirmed that Microsoft will keep Call of Duty on PlayStation after the Activision-Blizzard acquisition.Yeah there's a solution for that, but i still have quite a few of my own problems too. Currently, the only way to play Game Pass titles on a PC via xCloud is to use a controller. It is also expected that the new Xbox App update delivers mouse and keyboard support for xCloud games. However, there are still some annoying issues that could be troublesome, including the difficulties that some players have when they attempt to sync their Xbox App account with an EA App account to benefit from EA Play games through the PC Game Pass subscription. Thanks to the updates launched this year so far, Xbox App on PC feels much smoother than before. The Xbox Accessories app works with any Xbox One or Xbox Series XS wired or wireless controller. Prior to this, Microsoft added the ability to choose where to install a game before hitting the download button on Xbox App, which was a widely demanded option. Get quick access to Xbox Game Pass, social media, live streams, and more on your Edge, Firefox, or Chrome browser. Unfortunately, the head of Xbox didn't reveal anything about this upcoming update to the Xbox App, but mentioning it as a "big" update could mean it might contain new features or at least remove some of the software's weird bugs, especially with pre-loading games.
